$99.95 Snap on Deals

I remember seeing the $99.95 deals thread a while back,but can't seem to find it know.I wanted to say that it starting soon,if it hasn't already?I only see the Snap On truck every few weeks as needed,so I haven't been able to ask about them.I knew the SL80a was in towards the beginning but I have one bought now so I scratched it off.Anyone know when the metric combo wrench set deal was on?I remember the rest of the set was in early January I believe,but don't remember when the other half was on sale...

Not snap on. Chadster. It was his thread, he didn't want it or the thread to be around and he canned it on his own will and right.

My problem is my dealer doesn't want people to know about the specials and took an almost defensive response when I inquired about his recent trip to florida convention, and if that means he will have $99 specials. He admitted it does, but then tried to down play it as only 5 available etc. He would be real vague about if/when a specific item were to be on the list. "oh ya, that's on sale sometime next year but I'll only have 5" "I have it right now for regular price if you want and I will enter you in a raffle"

Wish I could have saved a copy of the list.

They started this week. I picked up my mid-deep 1/4 metric and SAE sets yesterday. Chad asked to have the thread pulled but it might be because of the fanatics on this board. If your dealer wasn't at the conference this year, they couldn't get that deal and guys were contacting dealers on here trying to get them. Not to mention that the dealers only get 5 of each item and some of them were having 10 or 15 guys getting pissed off because they sold out.

Guess what? those deals will go to guys that buy a lot of tools, pay in cash or (in my case) has a damn good friend that is a dealer.

my dealer didn't show up that week. so i am figuring that he was there. of course i cannot say if he participated. but i have yet to be offered any of it. though i don't really buy from him(i did buy a hammer a few weeks ago)

I better be notified of this by my dealer I've been paying my guy quadruple payments on a weekly basis hmmmmm lets hope!

I'm not ashamed to ask my dealer about upcoming specials and he doesn't seem to mind. He knows I'm more likely to buy something that I don't really need if it is on special. I also usually pay cash, or if it's a last minute thing that I need I might use my debit card but I don't run a balance with him. If he isn't participating in that particular deal, or for that matter if he has already sold out to one of his better customers I don't get upset or hound him and he doesn't seem to mind that I asked. Sometimes I'll pick something up and he will have just gotten a new special that I didn't hear about and he'll let me know about it. That's how I bought my MG725. I was picking up the FR80 3/8 ratchet that I ordered from him and he told me about a deal that he got where I could buy the MG725 and get a Blue Point air ratchet free. I asked him if he minded if I gave him $200 and then gave him the rest in 2 or 3 weeks, and since I didn't have the compressor yet for him to just hang onto everything. It was no problem. He made an extra sale and I got a good deal. I like my dealer and always feel that I get great service even though I'm not a pro and just meet up with him somewhere along his route.

I had mentioned the deals to the Snap On Man when I last bought from him,who said he was in on the promotion.I always pay cash,and pay in full.I meet him at a service station a few miles away to do my business.Does anyone remember when the metric combo wrenches were on sale?I was thinking mid November but I'm not for sure.

my dealer has a sale every week on certain tools he marks below retail close to cost, most times he has 2-3 at that price for the week

damm dealer sold me that at 109.99 ... i figured it was a good deal 70 bucks off, i wanted the 3/8s but he said he have that on sale in a few weeks

Both were FDP. 7pc set, and the "add on" set.
