I searched but couldn't find anything on this. So here it goes! Show us your favorite ratchet, the tool of all tools, the one you have to have, the one every good man has sitting in his tool box patiently waiting to be taken out and used.....

Ahhhh, nice, nice. Which is the go to ratchet? The one you always seem to pick up first?

I really love my T72, but I've heard great things about HF 3/8" composites, so I'm going to be picking one up really soon.

HF 1/2" extendable ratchet. The one with the green and black handle. Has been good in any situation where it fits, I keep a back up in my box too, just in case

same here FLF80 is my favorite till this past week the head broke .....

waiting on the replacement and i find my self using a super old husky flex head ratchet it just doesnt feel the same...jobs have been so hard this past week lol


i was about to buy a new FHLF80 off the truck but i couldnt think about having 2 of the same ratchets! lol so i ended up getting a straight handle F80 long

By far my favorite wrench!

3/8" SK Roto-Ratchet. I have the version pictured with the 4 bar direction selector that's easy to flip forward and reverse with your thumb. I think the head swivels close to 270* on this thing. You can get at ANY angle with this, use it like a regular ratchet to break something free, use it like a nut-driver to speed things up. Very smooth 72 tooth action. NOBODY borrows this one!

I used to laugh at people for the same thing. I remember asking a guy once why he owned 2 of the exact same ratchets. But I bought the fhlf80, used it for 5 seconds, went back to the truck and bought another one LMAO! I like it because I can be working on something where 12mm and 14mm are extremely common. One is set up with a 12mm and the other with a 14mm, just switch between ratchets, easy as that.

Currently this 3/8 Craftsman Premium ratchet is my favorite. Got it from Stuey at the toolguyd.
