Recently picked up an International Harvester 1/2" drive torque wrench. Its only the second one I have ever seen, and the only one that was affordable. I feel fortunate to have aquired it.

Very cool find. I've been trying to find IH tools lately...and would love to score one of them at the flea market!

Thanks for the good words, everyone!

Bindernut, I saw one of these sell 2 years ago and it brought considerably more than this one. I feel lucky to have payed less than what I was expecting too for this one. The IH tools are out there, but it just takes time and some luck.

That is a great find Scott. I have what looks to be the exact same wrench only it is made by SK. I bet one company made them for just about everyone.

Thanks. I was wondering who the OEM was for this wrench. Something told me that it wasn't Wright.

I wonder if that part number on the wrench might be a clue to the OEM manufacturer. (under the USA).

All of the IH tools from the era of this wrench use the "999" prefix in their part number regardless of the OEM. I'm not sure if the rest of the number would match another manufacturer or part of their number system, but it is worth looking into.
