Looking to make a boot brush to help keep the place cleaner and maybe give some away as Christmas gifts. Anyone ever make one? I picked these off the web but was thinking maybe some Teak wood or Aluminum with off the shelf cleaning brushes that could be replaced every year or so.

I like the idea. That first one looks like a serious boot brush that would do the trick.

The second one looks like something a loft resident might use when returning from the rooftop raised-bed garden, to keep the roof detritus on their clogs from scratching their bamboo floors.

You have to consider where the mud goes after it comes off the boots. The grate is good because it can't collect anywhere.
