Shows as $79 for me, but two questions...does it include the second battery? The web site is silent to this...
And the reviews are terrible on the Link you provided. I thought the 18v li-ion were well respected, but now i think that might just be the XRP. I have a 14.4 XRP for 6 or 7 years that has been awesome.
My local Lowes had on clearance the Dewalt DCD760KL 18-Volt 1/2" Compact "Lithium Ion" Cordless Drill with 2 batteries, charger, and case for $79. Regular price was $220. Looks like they just marked them down today from $199 to $79.

and? :tard:
I picked up the $17.50 GearWrench 56 pc Ratcheting Screwdriver set...
Fit into the handles is a round shaft cut down slightly to a sq 1/4 drive with a ball detent. Guessing nothing but GearWrench will fit, which I think ***** compared to using something like 1/4 hex. Would also be nice if there were some shorter shafts, maybe there are with the stubby version which I will end up getting if I like these.
I picked up the $17.50 GearWrench 56 pc Ratcheting Screwdriver set at Sears after dinner tonight, just a first impression, wow the handles are BIG. Suits me fine as my hands are big, but I wasn't expecting them to be so large, like the big 3 sided Snapon.

Bits will go in my drawer of misc bits, sockets in with spares.
So far so good for the money, but I can tell if I like them I may end up buying something farther up the food chain.
Maybe i missed it earlier in the thread but, do you have a link to the set you're talking about?
Woot.com is having a woot-off, usually some tools and garage stuff in there somewhere but intermingled with useless **** and geek toys. For anyone unfamiliar, the woot-off is a single item sale of unspecified quantity until it's gone and replaced by a new item, and it can be very fast paced and competitive, especially when there's a "bag of ****" involved somewhere. Good luck.Seattle/Tacoma, WA

True, but for <$20, you get the GW T-handle driver and a nice portable kit. That's the justification I used at the time. If I recall correctly, I sent one or two sets out as giveaways as well, don't remember.Stuey - glad i'm not the only one! It seemed like/is an awesome deal... but the jumbo size of the driver makes it pretty impractical most of the time. The SO ratcheting driver is much better IMO, albeit different leagues.
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00944013000PThat certainly seems like a good deal for the price.
Found a way to get the drill for $63.68 by going through 1/2 the check out process using the Lowes of Culpeper, VA (zip 22701) then open another browser window to change the pick-up to my local store (which I verified had the drill in stock first), and then going back to complete the check-out.
Steps (taken from SD):
1. Check your local store for stock, don't order more than there is...
2. Change zipcode to (Store with correct price and in stock).
3. Add # to cart. (This is window 1)
4. Click 'Pick Up In Store'
5. Click 'Continue Checkout'
6. Sign in or click 'Continue Checkout' on the right.
7. Leave page open...
8. Open Window 2.
9. Open Lowes.com
10. Change store to your local store.
11. Go back to Window 1.
12. Fill out your Billing Address and info... hit 'next.'
13. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Done.
