Since you were all so helpful ID'ing the Wilton earlier, I thought that I'll give you guys a shot at this one. Flea market guy wanted $75 for it. Not sure who made it & where. What looks like a label on the left side of the vise is actually grinding marks, (probably ground off the "Made In China" casting). It is also missing the cap off the end of the spindle and one of the "pipe" jaws is missing & replaced with a piece of scrap. Spindle and head turn smoothly. Jaws in decent condition (held in by recessed allen screws if that matters). Found no other numbers/words. Base swivels fairly smooth. Swivel base locks seem a little chintzy. Base only 3 holes (forgot to check if 4th broke off.) I do remember casting on bottom of swivel base VERY rough. Would like to buy it if it's a domestic and be able to restore it. Any ideas?

Its just another crappy import. All of these multivices are believed to be imports. Just stick with the old weathered, overbuilt vintage American vises. They arent that hard to spot. BTW, I wouldnt pay more than $20 at most for that and that was if it was within one mile of my house and I was in a pinch. You could buy a new one from HF for this price...the majority of CL posters are delusional about the value of their items.
