I ordered some parts for my dads car, ordered them on tuesday night.
I got some of the parts yesterday, I got more today.
It was fast.., just a tip some parts like oil filter is best to bought a autoparts,

Been buying on their for years, I always check with my 2 parts guys, and then check rock auto, when rock auto is cheaper its always by a huge margin. Shipping always quick, never screwed up a single order yet.

I don't think that's always the case. On my last Rock Auto order I threw in 5 or 6 filters because they were less than $2 each and didn't increase the shipping cost. They were quality filters, too. USA-made Champs and Korean Prontos.

It all depends on where the items are shipping from. In my case, the filters were in the same warehouse as the parts I ordered, so there was no additional shipping cost.

The ones I got appear to be well made. I believe Pronto is just a brand of parts that are repackaged for their distributor network. I don't know who the OEM is of the filters I bought.

The filters I got were made in Korea. I think I read on another forum that some are made in China. I wouldn't buy them if I knew I'd be getting Chinese parts, but that's just because I try to avoid Chinese products when I can.

Did a complete front brake job on my Sonata....ordered all parts except calipers from Rock Auto....saved $100 and got higher quality parts.
Only reason I bought the calipers locally was so I wouldn't have to deal with shipping back the cores. Only cost me $10 more to buy them at O'Reilly.

I have had great luck with Rock Auto as well. I have had probably ~10 seperate orders from them and never had a problem. Great prices, and quick shipping. I also like that you can pick the brand that you are buying, and they give you the part # for each part as well. Just be familiar with the vehicle you are buying parts for because their parts catalog isent 100% correct for every vehicle even though you have selected that it is a 4wd and has this engine etc. Although I have never had a problem, I always double checked my items before I pulled the trigger on an order.

I use to order all my truck and car parts from Rock auto..But my last two orders took forever to ship...2 weeks plus...On the plus side, They do have everything you need at a good price

I've ordered from Rock Auto a couple times. Generally been pleased with what they sent and how fast I got it. Some things I order from dealers who sell online, depending on what it is. i.e. for my cars the timing belt and water pump aren't much more expensive to get from a dealer online so I go for the genuine parts. Sometimes I've seen the aftermarket parts cost more than the genuine part.
