My garage build that will never be completed...

I just joined this forum a few months ago and can't believe the amount of information that is out there, you guys are awesome!!

Here pictures of my two and a half year project that still isn't done (but it's close)

The building is 36x45x10 and I bought the kit at Menards and was very pleased with the quality. I did everything myself except the concrete and the plumbing rough in. I had the concrete poured first. I have 12x40 inch footings all the way around and the floor itself is 4 inches. I built brackets to bolt to the floor and then bolt the posts to the brackets and it worked out great! I'm almost done with the inside now and have R19 in the walls and R50 in the ceiling with OSB for the wall covering. I'm still trying to figure out what is wrong with my Mr. Heater 75k before the weather gets too cold. Enjoy...

In regards to your title - they are NEVER finished! Six years and counting for me. But you aren't doing it right if you aren't having fun along the way.

Great size! What are you going to be putting in that bad boy?

I really don't know yet... I've got a few toys. 4 wheeler for me and one for my daughter, my motorcycle and my mower. I would like to park our cars in there this winter too. I just wanted it big enough so that when I have my truck and stuff in there that I can still hang out and have room to party!

I thought the same thing when I found this forum!

Yea I don't think I'll ever be completely finished with it but it doesnt bother me because I always have a fridge full of beer out there!

Yea it was freezing the first winter when I was working on it. I was out there working when it was -10! That's pretty cold for Illinois. But, it will be nice and toasty this winter!

Here's a few more pics. It's still a mess in there because I don't have all of my storage set up yet and I still have to build a work bench. The only thing that is different now is that I have 3 ceiling fans out there.
