what siding would you use

ive got a 18x28 one car garage what would you use metal roof panels smart panel or hardie panel im want the best for my money and look good to its got a deminsional roof on it like the house house has hardie lap siding but its high

i live in martinsville va on va nc state line everyone here has hardie lap siding on there houses and the only other garage around my neighborhood is vinyl i was thinkink metal but i cant find any good pics of metal siding garage with shingle roof .. grammer i dont never not ever need any of taht stuf

Match to the house. I like fiber cement siding, i usually install Certainteed on new builds only because they are easier to work with as a company then James Hardie, but both brands are acceptable quality.
