Rolling Bridge Air/Hyd Rolling Jack ??

I was wondering if anyone has one, and what brands are better than others. My lift is a Bend Pak HD9. My car weighs 8000 pounds, so a jack of some sort is a necessity. I just don't think that a jack plate and bottle jack is going to cut it for me. The one that I am thinking of is the Bend Pak RJ45

I just found this one by Greg Smith Equipment and I am wondering if anyone has any experience with this jack or this company.

Hunter has 8000lb rolling jacks that pivot downwards into the lift. No Idea on cost, never had to buy them myself, but they are pretty nice. I prefer them to the scissor style.

I checked out that gregsmith site. Aparantly that stuff isnt made in the USA, but "In a 100% american owned offshore factory"

We have two similar jacks at work on our four post rack. It looks exactly the same as the first pic except that it is air powered with a large single bladder. It works well but seems to float around a bit. I believe we paid about $600 each for them, I'll check the brand and repost....H

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, they only make a 3500# and a 6000 and up jacks. My vehicle weighs 8000# so I need the 4500.... the 3500 is too small, and the 6000 is too large.

I have used the airbag jacks and didn't care for them...due to the "floating around" reason.

Is there any more recent information available on the Rolling Bridge Jack? I can't believe that I am the only person on the site that needs or wants one. Surely someone on this great site must already own one... If not, what is everyone else doing to jack up the vehicles? Thanks Junk......

I've got a Bend-Pak HD9-XLW and I also have the RJ45 rolling jack. I've used it a number of times- and it's really come in handy. I also have a jack plate so I COULD use a bottle or floor jack, but I never had a reason to!

Pluses- it's easy to slide into place, and lifting the car off the ramps is just a button push (really a pedal) away.
It's rock solid stable- but my cars don't way 4000 pounds (unless you add 3 of them together!).

Minuses- it needs air for the hydraulic pump, so I wind up connecting/disconnecting it frequently if I'm also using air tools.
It is very heavy, and something of a pain to reverse in the ramps if the pump is in the way for some operation.

The jack from Greg Smith Equipment will not fit the Bend Pak lifts.
I haven't gotten a rolling jack yet for my Bend Pak. I am still saving my pennies and am hoping to find the deal of the Century on one. If I get real lucky, I will find a Bend Pak employee that can get me that deal...
