I was tickled to get these for a great price but am unsure of the exact vintage. Anyone have an educated guess? 16 pieces.

Those are very cool looking screwdrivers. I like the colors. I want some green handle ones with the black drivers like that.

Made in mid to late 90's. I was outbid on a 20 some piece set that maybe had a couple of them that were actually used at all. It went for $135 about 6 months ago.

There is a store in town that is full of NOS stuff. His prices are usually so high that stuff just sits and sits. I don't think he needs money. These were hidden at the bottom of a pile of other stuff just sitting on the floor. He has brand new tools from companies that have been out of business for many years. Along with a lot of new stuff of course.

WOW, nice score. I really like hi-vis screwdrivers.

But, I will admit that I prefer the handles on the new Craftsman pro drivers to these hard handles.

That's a slick looking set, very nice! I have one of the Craftsman pry bars with a very similar handle in orange and I love it.

Yes, as I said I was 'tickled' ... I thought it sounded better than 'woody' or something like that : )

I have a 6 piece set of the same screwdrivers.

I bought them right around 1999-2000.

At the same time they also offered a 3-piece crescent wrenche set with an orange rubber coating on the handle.

I bought both sets to use in a trailer so I could find the tools out in the field.

Surprisingly, I still have them ALL today.

i remember those from the 90s, i remember when you could get black or orange and many of them were $1 a piece loose in the bottom shelf just piled together.

for $35 bucks sounds like not a bad deal. I think I have a couple random black ones still

What is the name of the place that had them? You could work on stuff in traffic with those and have a better chance of surviving.

A guy at the flea market today had a #2 phillips in that style/color of C'man screwdriver. Wanted $3 for it and I passed.

Might buy it if it's still there tomorrow.

I see the black handled versions a good bit, but never the orange.
