Yup, they're pre-made. Kind of surprised me since I didn't notice that in the picture when I purchased them, but its cool because I don't have any other pair like them.

Honestly, any mark on it to identify a company are gone. Judging by the color the handles used to be, I'm leaning towards Channel lock as well.

Since I got lucky last week I decided to ask my snap-on guy if he had any more hard handles. And the answer was yes.
I only want to keep the regular black and the stubby blue.
The yellow, red, and ssdd42 handle will go in the classifieds.

Heres mine All us made (I think the allway putty knife is the only one that doesn't directly say "made in the us" but still I liked it more than the rest of the gimmicky putty knifes they had) Been eying the snips for a while. Needed a good pair of mechanical fingers, and a good dead blow (again both the Mechanics fingers and the dead blow go with my "buy nice, or buy twice" theory)

So if any newbies are out there wanting to get started in the trade, and read this post let this be a lesson that if you buy cheep tools you get cheep results.

Orange wire strippers finally showed up today from SO's online store and picked up the LED light from the truck this afternoon. I know it's only BP but holy **** it's bright!!

Close to 3 weeks if I remember correctly. Funny the night I ordered they showed as being in stock but a couple days after when I checked to see if my items had shipped, it said it was backordered. The pic makes the orange look faded but they're pretty much the same orange as everything else they make in orange. I like em!

My guy had a zip up display case on the truck today that had those in red, green and orange as well as four or five other kinds of pliers and needle noses all in green, red and orange. I think I saw Georgia post a picture awhile back of the case. I set aside all the green.

I actually asked my truck guy about that and he had never heard of anything like it. Must be another US only thing. Would love to get my hands on a set of lines mans in orange. Tried looking for it on the so website but came up empty.

I have all of those except the straight cross peen, would like one though. Those dollies are super nice too! Everything looks brand new! Are they?

I actually met a guy on craigslist, and have became decent friends with him. he is good friends with a local s/o dealer and thats who he gets tools/deal from and i get tools/deals from him lol. he said he had them just sitting in his box and he never used them, so pre-owned/ lightly used. I got the 3 dollies and 4 hammers for $250, and the white ratcheting screwdriver from a swap meet, he was going to warranty the stubby and white one, but hasnt met up with the dealer so i just said ill hold onto them. I got the wrench from him too, to almost complete my set.
