I received word that Lowe's is offering free shipping on ALL online tool purchases 11/24-11/28!

HD also sent word that they will offer free shipping and a $5 off $50 online-only coupon.

Milwaukee 13 piece Hole Saw is ALREADY MARKED DOWN to the BF price of $39.88 (in store) at Home Depot.

Was just wandering around the tools and the sales guy said some BF stuff was already marked down in the computer. Sure enough, it was. Only thing I needed from Home Depot too.

Perfect! That was one of the only things I wanted. Will have to grab one on the way home today.

Wow, Home Depot already killed some of the online deals! Milwaukee hole saw set is completely gone from the website.

The product you are trying to view is not currently available.

Steve

I just tried to buy it at the local store and it is full price. I guess I will have to try and get one Friday.

I saw the same thing you did Stuey. I was looking at a couple of things for myself and they are all coming up unavailable.

Hole saws aren't marked down at my HD either.

What I did see was a $50 Ridgid 16-gallon shop vac special, and 2D Maglites for $15.88. Bought one for my parents in case I can't get one via Lowes tomorrow. Will be $14.97 at Lowes and online.

Is the Ridgid Vac on sale now?

YES!! It's a "special buy" for $50. It's in the middle of my store, with "Save $40" signs.

Unfortunately I didn't check out the specs.

Sales tag details: 16 Gallon Ridgid Wet/Dry Shop Vac $49.88.

In-store # 202-531
SKU 648846020167

Model ridgid wd1637

Haven't seen this posted anywhere yet.

http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1287066

Ace branded GearWrench 4 peice set for $9.99. Ace should be one of the less crowded stores Friday.
I must have seen that at one point but forgot, thanks for the info!

There are also 2 printable coupons - 50% off one item under $30 on Saturday and $10 off $50 Sunday

http://www.acehardware.com/coupon/index.jsp

Any idea what shipping runs at toollady? One of my major pet peeves is websites who require you to enter all of your information before they tell you the shipping rates.

I added a 6pc screwdriver set and took it most of the way through checkout. It quoted UPS shipping at $10.80 but then offered the following:

Shipping prices are not exact and are subject to change.
This website is not 'live' ordering. Your order will be processed in the Tool Lady office. Shipping will be determined by the fastest least expensive method or by your specific request.

Shipping prices shown on the website are not exact and are subject to change.

Shipping for non-US deliveries will be by US Postal Service unless you request UPS. If necessary, you will be notified by email of shipping options and the order will be shipped when we receive your approval.

My suggestion would be to email her a list of what you intend to buy and ask for an approximate shipping quote. I've chatted with her throughout the day today, and she responds very quickly. That might not be the case tomorrow, though.

If you do get a quote tonight or before Friday, please share it with us!

It has been missing from the website for a few days now. I checked another item and it was still on the website, but you couldn't add it to your cart. Hopefully they will work on Friday.

They disabled purchasing for the LM Wingman as well. I guess they really want to force customers to head on into the store where they can entice then to buy more.

Update: I uploaded the tool-related ports of ad scans. Links to galleries are in my 1st post of this thread.

FYI - Lowes BF is now active online. I just ordered the Dewalt Drill and some barstools for the wife. You can pick it up at the store or have it sent to you home.

I just noticed as well. yeehaw! I ordered 4 Maglites and will continue to shop.

Boo that free shipping requires $49+ orders.

Update: Amazing enough, the ladders and Shop Vacs are still in stock! argh, do I or a close family member need a new light duty 6-footer or a virtually disposable shop vac? Normally these deals fly by so quickly I don't have time to consider it.

I ordered a few things with in store pick up, including the ladder. Wonder if they will actually have one for me when I go there sometime on Friday?

Got some of the flashlights which get shipped to the house, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I got that vacuum a few years ago. With the short cord and the smaller motor, it pretty much sucked (well, actually it didn't **** which is the problem with it:mad:)

ETA: The flashlights ship out of your local store according to the website. I would offer to just take them with me when I get my other stuff and save them the $6, but that would just confuse the hell out of them, guaranteed.

Supposedly extra staff will be pulling items to fulfill online orders early on Friday morning.

If something goes wrong, make a huge fuss until they upgrade you. They're not going to want to spare any staff arguing with you on Friday and Saturday when all hands are needed to help customers.

Damnit! Lowes casualty.

Their BF prices are online now. I placed an order for 3 ladders, 2 Maglites and a socket set. Somehow, when I went to check out, the confirmation was for many more items for over $700... must have been a cart I saved? The rest were all things I wanted, other than one Frontline for Cats... I don't have a cat and would never look at Frontline at Lowes either way :)

Odd... will have to get refunded on Friday. Not sure what I need Frontline for Cats or 2 Bostich 3-piece air compressor/nailer sets for...

That happened to me as well, signed in and ****** other items I previously added to my logged-in cart were saved and added to current order.

ebates.com has 5% cashback for lowes and a $5 sign on bonus. I think cashback is void when a coupon code not from their website is used.

Not worth the effort just for this sale, imho. I tried signing up for such a cash-back program last year or year before, and by the time I was done the items I wanted were all sold out. Still might be worth signing up for next time.

I did save a bundle back when Bing had their cashback program.

I just bought the shop vac on lowes. Saved a massive $1.45 from the $29 with the cashback. :lol_hitti

Geeks have a few items that might be of interest, mostly geek stuff, computer, network, some camera, and LCD type stuff and the odd bit. They have Dremel 4xAA battery powered golf club cleaners (basically a cheesed down version of a dremel with 2 attachments that you could clean your golf clubs with) for $6. Shipping is free if you can find $49 of stuff, otherwise for me it was $5. I'm tempted because it could be a handy cordless light duty Dremel. They have two types, the 01 and 04, 04 looks faster, so maybe a better motor or something, both same price.

You can buy the hole saw kit online now at Home Depot. I was going to buy the Leatherman Wingman to, but it says store only.

The hole saw kits were in the tool department in the regular place last night, and the rack said they were on clearance at the $39.99 price. I was really tempted...but I have some hole saws now and just don't use them enough to justify the purchase.

That being said...despite trying really hard...there's nothing I need to buy. I've been really GASing for a new guitar too (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome)...but again, there nothing out right now I like bad enough to buy.

Be careful on the Home Depot site today. I just tried to order the holesaw kit and it was $39.99 the whole way through until I added my address. It then changed to normal price ($79.99). Check your prices before you click the final submit!
