Lowes' BF sale is LIVE!!

http://toolguyd.com/2011/11/lowes-black-friday-2011-tool-deals/ or head on over to lowes.com.

However, the site seems to be choking a little as people catch on. Good luck!

I ordered 4 Maglite 2D LED flashlights.

Wonder what time that started? 11:43 here, shop vac looks like I can order on line pick up in store, but the shop vac is showing Temporarily Unavailable or Limited Availability, with no option to order on line for in store pick up.
Wanted to order 2 lights and the shop Vac, wonder if after midnight will make a difference?

Looks like it's Free Parcel Shipping on orders $49 or more, and it's giving me the free shipping based on the shop vac and the flashlights, but the shop vac is for instore pick up. Does that sound normal?

Lowe's worked fine for me just a second ago. Ordered the DeWalt drill/screwdriver bit set, the $29 shop vac and the Porter Cable 18v set. I did the in-store pickup option, figure I'll wait a week for the crowds to thin out before picking it up.

Thanks again for the heads-up Stuart. Naturally all orders were placed via the toolguyd.com click-through.

It could be regional. When I checked out it asked what locality I live in.

My guess is that someone flipped the switch early. Not that I'm complaining.

If you cannot order them online, wait a little and try again. If still no-go, try again in an hour. If still no-go, your only hope is heading in-store on Friday morning. Even then the early birds usually wipe out all the ladders and vacs.

Glad to help! I'll be eager to hear your thoughts about the PC 18V set. I'm on the fence about whether to buy one as a gift. The Dewalt bit set looks like a good buy, but I'm really in need of it. But I could use another tool bag...

After placing my order I tried to check something else that should be on sale, but the regular price was showing, don't know why. Going through my links fixed things and I was able to check out with the BF pricing.

I figured 1 Maglite I ordered from HD earlier plus 1 from this order for my parents, and 3 for 2 pairs of aunts & uncles. Around holidays, someone always a flashlight, and everyone always digs around until they find an old incandescent with dead batteries. I gave them AAs in the past, but everyone dumped them in a drawer and lost track of them. Harder to misplace a 2D Maglite.

Well Thanks, I better order the shop vac then so I can lock in on the price.
Guess I could let them ship the flashlights since they are offering the free shipping based on the total including the shop vac.

Well for $62.48 with tax and free shipping I just let them ship the whole order.
If you didn't know free shipping on all tools till the 28th.

HD in Lake Forest CA off of El Toro road and the 5 fwy. One Ridgid drill press in the tool aisle on the bottom shelf. Beat up box, but it is $74. I've got a drill press otherwise I'd be on it.

This bums me out. I'd love to have one, but there's none around here.

I have the set...but honestly haven't really delved very deep into it. Use the blow gun and the tire inflate piece more than anything lol. In looks everything looks pretty decent but i can't testify to how well the impact wrench works at this time

I have most of the tools in that kit, and they work well. Not too amazing impact(3/8), but the 1/2 might be better.

Thanks guys, after some research I think I am going to pass. I need some stuff with a little more oomph. Very tempting for a back up set for travel though.

Anybody see any black friday deals for autozone, Oriellys, napa, or carquest? No luck on my internet searches but I not very computer savy either LOL

Ridgid shop vac deal just went live online, also available in-store tomorrow. $50, free shipping.

Online ad says 11/24-12/24 so it appears to be an extended sale item. They had these a couple years ago for like $30. At $50, it is a decent deal, but not a screaming deal. I still have my $30 one from a few years ago and it has outlasted my POS Shop Vac one.

Oh Now I find out the Shop Vac I ordered is a POS.
I thought shop vac was a major brand?

I'm on the same boat. Have a 6 gal shop vac, but, wanting a better one (rigid).

You can always pick up the rigid and return the shop vac. Or you can give as a gift.

I'm not sure why people are saying it's a POS. I know the hose is small but you can upgrade for $30 to a larger diameter if you need. It's still a good vac for $60.

Agreed. I have a bunch of Shop Vacs, they're not the greatest but they do really well for the price point. I think $30 is an extremely good deal. For construction type pickup, definitely upgrade to a 2" hose... if you're using it around the house/automotive/etc., the smaller hose has a higher velocity and probably works a bit better for most uses.

I used the RIGID25 and HDTHANKS coupons on one order, good looking out gentlemen.

Are the Irwin pliers on Sears BF sale USA made?
No, Irwin/Vise-Grip pliers in current production are made in China. Channellock, Klein, Crescent and Craftsman offer USA-made pliers and pipe wrenches. Not all Crescent or Craftsman are USA-made, consult the individual tool packaging.

Thanks guys, so it's a smaller hose?
I think I'll just take my chances with it,
Think the Shop Vac is a little smaller too that is a plus.
Yeah, it's more for around the house/shop/car, I have this little pick up thing sometimes I set it up to a shop vac when I sand on the lathe, or clamp it to the bench when I use the router.
Think I have some of the larger diameter hoses around here.
Find/found them in the trash curb side a few times.

The misspelled code "RIGID25" works for me. Double check their online pricing before you buy. They have the 12" compound miter saw priced at $569. I saw them in the store last night for $399.

Not showing any of these in stock in Missouri. I was going to pick up a Dewalt dw718 tomorrow but would consider this Ridgid instead if I could find one.

lol, that's just funny. I checked on a couple of computers and it worked here. Don't know what I could have done wrong with the link.

Even at $50, though, it's a very nice package. Rivals the Craftsman BF shop vacuum deal. Although the Craftsman has a longer cord and wider hose but with lower capacity.

saw that earlier, but it doesn't work for me
tried different items and same result
also on their website the coupon is "RIGID25" (spelling!) and not "RIDGID25", neither works:mad:

Sorry, but no.

Yes, but it looks to be a BF/holiday special, in which case it will have been made for the lower pricepoint. Lower spec motor, and possibly lower quality parts.

Thanks for the correction! As of 9pm tonight they still didn't fix their misspelling. Good point about knowing you prices.
