hello all...

Was wondering what your thoughts were on garage door threshholds. are you a fan of the ones that glue to the floor or the ones that attach to the bottom of the door.

What you think is best and maybe some reasons..thanks everyone.

my floor is unlevel. the people that owed the house before me tried the door seal then they added a angel with another seal to help but that didn't work.

i took the angle off and tried the door seal. that didn't work so i tried the seal that glues to the floor and so far that didn't work. i am going to make a hat channel at work to bring the floor up about and inch and put the floor seal on it and caulk the ends. i hope this works for my problem.

but i do like the floor seals that glue in. my buddy has one and he is happy with it.

why do you need a floor seal? is it for snow? i ask because my door has one but i just assumed it was to keep the bottom of the door from smacking the concrete. thanks for humoring my off topic, possibly stupid question.

I have it due to the fact when it rains here, it gets pretty windy and by having both, it creates a solid rubber seal to help keep out the rain.
