Well I guess as it turns out I've been a member since 2006 but didn't realize it till today. This shop was built by my grandpa with a pair of great big swing out doors and a sliding door. My dad replaced both of those doors with the single large overhead door. He's now no longer able to work in the shop so now It's become my little slice of heaven. I'm not exactly sure on dimensions but it's somewhere around 30x50, mostly used for working on tractors and other farm equipment. Here's the most recent picture I have from when I was building a rear bumper for my pickup.

and some slightly older ones, but it's mostly the same.

The things I would like to do is get the natural gas heater hooked back up again since I have never seen it used before and hopefully insulate the building. The jury is still out on insulation method. Can anyone tell me anything about this heater? The only thing I ever found on the internet was a craigslist add saying it was 140,000btu.

Oh and sorry I don't have any exterior pictures, it's just an old wood building covered in red tin.

Future plans:
20 ton press coming in next couple of weeks
More bench space
Insulation
bigger toolbox
rolling welding table
cnc plasma table (pipe dream)

Hard to beat a real working shop that have been able to serve 3 generations.
You have a great shop there!!

Not to mention 3 generations worth of accumulation of tools and other stuff. I cleaned out the cabinet under the drill press last week and found all kinds of things that I had no idea were in there.

Almost forgot that I have a tour of the shop that some might enjoy, I made this for another forum so ignore any names that don't sound familiar.
