I have not seen this posted yet but the new GREEN and ORANGE hard handle screwdrivers are available from Snap On and they do not have the ugly "Racing" logo on them.

i bought some for my inlaw and they were the same ones but red, just got them today.

part numbers sddx70aR or O or G for the colors available. its wierd tho on the back of the packaging the screwdriver has the racing logo, but the drivers themselves do not.

I Can't decide if I need a third so I can have all generations of this or not. (Minus the racing ones of course)

pretty sure it's the same set as the racing edition was with a different emblem on the handle. if so, there's a #1,2,and 3 phillips......or at least I THINK mine has a #3 phillips?

are the emblems painted on like the racing ones (which wear off ) or are they screened in like the newer ratcheting screwdrivers?

i talked to my SO guy he said they are just painted and wear off quick, he isn't impressed, regardless of how awesome they look!

Aren't all the part numbers for the newer Snap-on hard handle stuff painted on? I have the SDDD41 and SDDD101 screwdrivers, both are only several months old and have painted on numbers. I also have a set of Williams hard handles from April 2011 and the numbers are painted on.

I have not seen the racing set personally, so I am not sure if these are the same as those or not. They are not like the new ratcheting drivers though, that's for sure. These have the same indention like the old drivers, then paint in them... I have an extra set of green if someone wants a set.

At least Snap-on put USA on these green, orange and red hard handles. :bounce:
