Just curious as to the delivery dates that you should be expecting your orders. I was reading that they usually ship in 2 days, so we should know soon enough if they are going to fill the orders. What has happened in the past when they make mistakes like this. Do they honor the price, or do they cancel the order? When something like this is posted, and they get a flood of orders, does that tip them off or are the orders processed by computer without human intervention, so they just go through until the merchandise is exhausted?

Le sigh! I couldn't get in on the sets, but I ordered a bunch of wrenches at pretty damn low prices. Worst case scenario, I return one or a few, if I ever get them. Or for those that got sets, if I get my loose wrenches, maybe we can trade sizes =)

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that when there is a post about Sears' "too good to be true deals..." the initial post is often followed by 10 or 12 saying that the order didn't work?

Yes, but sometimes it's worth a shot. Remember a couple of guys got in on the OTC discount?

I panic-ordered a few items last night. I figured, if I'm going to give it a shot, I may as well go for gold. I ordered one of the ratcheting t-handles, a bit holder shaft, a socket holder shaft, a 3/8" drive 1/4" bit holder, and a buncha wrenches. Then I placed a second order for a few 15mm double box end wrenches.

I too noticed the wratchet wrench and pass-thru adapter, but didn't bite b/c I don't really use 1/2" too much. I'd much rather get a 3/8" flex handle. They had other adapters for that ratchet, like a 1/4" and 3/8" adapter, but the 3/8" version is $20!!

It's the X-Beam wrenches that contribute the high shipping fees. For example, one 3/4" x-beam had shipping of like $9, 2 had it for $23, and 3 made the shipping jump up to $45.

I bought that same thing at home depot for 4.99. I missed out on the x beams too but i got 3 of the xl metric sets. I originally was going to buy 11 of them and hock the other 8 on flea bay and make some money but hell with it, I didnt want to hog them all like some ******* prob. did with the x beams. I doubt these orders will go through though because its obvious that the listings were mistakes and it says in the user agreement that this happens sometimes and the have the right to refuse your order and issue a refund.
