Official Secret Santa 2011 Thread

ok so today I get this notification on my phone from USPS not an email or text just a notification, stating that there was an issue with the address on the pkg and was returned and wanted me to fill out some sort of ticket, wasn't quite sure what it was so checked online still showed enroute and checked with the Post Office and they said the samething and that it should have been delivered yesterday or today, anyway they didn't have it there(small town with a very small PO) guess I'll see if my guy posts up when he gets it.

Last year there was only one who didn't get his SS present. Hoping for even better results this year!

Indeed it may. I think those that were slow to ship should PM the recipient and let them know all is well. Maybe I'm just weird.

okay, UPS is killing me.....sent package on 15th and tracker says it won't arrive until the 23rd!!!! Really! 8 days! Really!

1,644 miles to destination....that is 8.5 mph! I could drive my daughter's power wheels there faster. Really.....8 days...only half way across the county!

Oh, well. at least it will arrive before Christmas!

This is a very busy time of the year for them. There are always delays around Christmas.

Yeah, things are sloooow right now. In the fall, I sent a couple of USPS priority mail boxes to NY from Calif. and heard from the recipient four days later that they had arrived.
My SS package is traversing a similar distance and has been in transit for 8 days so far.
Unless it arrived and just hasn't been acknowledged here. . .

I had something shipped last Friday from PA to WA UPS ground and it came a day early. 4 days across the country. I was impressed. I hope everyone's packages make it!

That is why I use FedEx ground.

Although I did not see him post, my recipient got his clear across the country in a matter of days.

It only took me about 5min to get it out of the mailbox and I thought for sure I was going to rip the mailbox off the post! That sucker was jammed in there so hard! I hope it's nothing breakable!

Was just informed by my dad, that my gift arrived at my parent's house. Hope it's not fragile-the postal idiot just threw it on to the front lawn. Will post picture of it in front of the tree tomorrow. Can't wait to open it.

Hahaha! Did you tell her we've resorted to this as a form of protest to years of mittens, socks and ties?

I got mine...well..my brother has it in his truck..him and my mom got the mail before they left town, and he didint bring it by the house...so i wont have it till late christmas day when they get back haha. but, it has made it!
