Also a lifelong dream was achieved today, I was at Sears and the Snap-on man was in the parking lot. I got to check out the truck and he gave me a catalog. I felt like a kid in a candy store!

Congrats! The snappy truck can be a fun place.....also a very scary place when you see the receipt!!

Oh and nice tool haul!

Yes I'd like to know as well. Those look really slick, I particularly like the easy to read sizes right on the holder. Even my old eyes can read them.

I got impatient and went searching.

Turns out you can get them badged as Matco and Blue Point.
I'd be curious to find out who really makes them, because on the truck they're about $40/ea :shocking:

They're magnetic, but only lightly, just enough to keep the wrench from falling out as you open and close the drawers. If I find them for $20, I'd gladly buy them.

Going to give my Stanley FatMax drivers to someone else that has expressed interest in them.

My first post in this thread, but it think this is a good reason. My Aunt just gave me this, it was my Uncles who recently passed and this was his dad’s and was his dad’s dad.

My kids bought me some new wrenches. I'm sure it is so I can continue keeping their cars running. I have wonderful kids. :)

I was wondering, does anyone know where I can get a couple more of these molded plastic tool cases? I'd like to get a couple I have enough old tools I'm thinking of setting up small tool cases for going to the junk yard and stuff.

I've been picking up some of the last Craftsman Pro (USA) wrenches in my area...I've now acquired a complete set of SAE wrenches, up to 1-1/2 inches, and all the metric ones as well.
Craftsman Pro.jpg

Also got all the Craftsman Pro stubbies SAE and metric...
Craftsman Pro stubby.jpg

All the Craftsman Pro offset box ends in SAE and metric...
Craftsman Pro box.jpg

The complete set of Cross Form wrenches in SAE and metric (some hate 'em, but I really like them)
Craftsman xforms.jpg

Not the Pro series, but all the 6 pt wrenches in SAE and metric...
Craftsman 6pt.jpg

But I'm not just into the CM Pros....

And while we're at it, just picked up some Armstrong ratcheting combos (not a lot of ratcheting wrenches made in the USA)
Armstrong ratcheting SAE.jpg

Some Proto 500 double box ends (didn't need them , but the deal was too good to pass up)
Proto 500.jpg

Proto flare nut wrenches. These have a uniquely thick open end. Anyone have any experience with these?
Proto flare nut.jpg

My first set of Wright combo wrenches (these are quickly becoming my favorites)
Wright SAE.jpg

Various Wiha pieces...

And what new acquisition would be complete without some new ratchets (Armstrong 12-994 flex head / Wera Zyklop / Craftsman Premium 1/2 and 1/4 / Craftsman thin profile set / Proto J5249XL / Wright 3425 / Wright 3430 / Titan 1/4 gearless / SK Palm control / Snappy F80)

My $15 service cart that I basically stole (for the price) from a liquidating Blockbuster Video store:

Nice haul, Iv'e been doing the same--couldn't help but notice your large SAE have USA on the box end-all the smaller one's it's on the open end, the module one's seem to be all marked USA on the open ends

Yeah, I noticed that, too. It's only on the really large ones, 1-1/16 - 1-1/2 inches. I had never even seen or heard of that set before I found that one. I wonder if it is made at a different factory that the rest...

These came from member Wchamberlain today. BP composite adjustables, Matco 1/2 88 tooth ratchet, Matco reducer/adapter set and a Mac ratcheting screwdriver -a package without a ratcheting screwdriver from Will just wouldn't be right! Impressed with it all but what caught me most off guard was the Mac screwdriver. That's a nice little driver! The selector switch is, dare I say it, smoother and easier to move with one finger then the snap on's! It's not a hard handle though so it's still only "nice" :lol_hitti

With the the $149 HF 5-drawer tool cart coupon, the brother-in-law and I went to town and came back with these. One for my place, one for the FIL. He's never had (or wanted) a tool box so the BIL and I went out tonight. The BIL was going to get something from Sears or Lowe's, but I showed him these and he agreed that this were much better built and a better deal - and he's not a tool guy.

Those larger ones are the NOS Craftsman Professional which were made by S-K. The shape at the box end is a dead giveaway. The text on these was also reverse of the newer Pro wrenches. I have a metric set of these as well as SAE up to 1" I bought probably 15 years ago. The best CM wrenches ever in my opinion!

No pics yet but I just order a plier rack, orange boot for my 14.4 snap on impact, and an adjustable back beanie from my snap on guy. Still deciding on whether or not to pull the trigger on the magnetic blue point circular LED light, anyone have this and like/use it a lot?

Dropped by HD while visiting the inlaws to pick up a Milwaukee 12v ratchet (which they didn't have  ) and instead picked up a Greenlee step drill bit and cable puller on clearance ($15 for both) and decided to try the new Dewalt ratcheting screwdriver. Can't say I'm in love with the screwdriver but it'll do fine in the kitchen drawer for odds and ends. also got a Kershaw chubby SO knife from eBay (nice knife) and a set of Wera ESD micro screwdrivers from member kissmeimgerman. Great guy to deal with, quick shipping and great packaging! oh and got a roll of the "good" 3m electrical tape at HD as well.
