Mike wanted to outfit his entire garage with Garage Pals diamond plate aluminum storage cabinets and accessories. Mike went all out. He had us build some custom items such as the 8 Ft combo package with a sink installed, the custom platforms / steps that he uses as the entrance step into his house, and the custom risers for the 6 Ft tall storage cabinets. Mike also ordered a custom cabinet to place over his oven and a pair of custom workbenches / end tables where he placed his fridge and shoes.

One of the most interesting features is the idea Mike had of placing diamond plate aluminum around the outside of his freezer...now he just needs to do the same with the oven!

Any idea why he wanted a kitchen sink and stove/oven in his garage? It's a little odd to see tools hanging over a sink like that.

And a side note: no one should ever store propane tanks indoors. Especially where there's a stove and a cat in the mix.

If he is a hunter, Ive seen some hunters use the garage stove for blanching the feathers off of their game birds, Also clean and fry fish, or even REAL fresh Deer. With out draggin it into the house.

I guess I'm the only one that thinks it's too much. I like Diamond Plate, but that just doesn't do it for me.

Im with Kevin. I like DiamondPlate as much as the next guy, usually but this is a bit too much.

As long as the owner is happy with it though thats what matters!

I like diamond plate, but that's way over the top IMHO. It should be used as accents, not for everything.

I don't actually like diamond plate so that's way way over the top to me, but I salute the spirit in which the project was carried out. It's serious fun to plan something like that and then make it happen.

Not how i would do it but it would make me happy. The oven is also great for heating metals for press work; like a piston pin.
