mid-installation Wej-it anchor question (MaxJax lift)

It became very difficult to 'seat' the anchors using just the breaker bar and standard wrench. The anchors would not pull up flush with the concrete floor. I've added the pictured 'extensions' to give more leverage on the seating nut, and I think that I can crank it till it pulls flush w/ the deformed washer, but wanted to check since I'm putting quite a bit of force onto the anchors.

Is it ok to really torque the hell out of these as long as you have the bolt secured?

The corner anchor is the one I've been working on w/ the extensions till I felt like I should confirm my approach before continuing.

They don't need to be flush to be seated. I'd be more concerned with the one on the crack. You really should be away from joints or cracks like that, and I'm pretty sure the requirements are 12"

I was advised that while not ideal, centering one bolt and leaving the other 2 on either side of the crack would be ok for my sub-4000lb vehicles. There weren't really any other mounting positions that would work for the car given the space constraints of the garage.

Is there a recommended number of turns to stop at when seating? I can keep on turning till it pulls flush w/ my extension, but I didn't want to over do it and either damage threads or shear the bolt.

There should be torque specs in the manual? I seem to remember reading that it's 100-150 ft lb. range.

I'll double check the maxjax manual then... didn't think I saw anything during those steps and the wej-it box just had a strip of paper w/ the different size bolts they make.

You don't want them to be flush with the concrete.Except for the crack ,your install looks fine.I would redo that one with epoxy...you can't be too safe!If they are flush or even .001" above the slab the holding power could be compromised.See the MaxJax install thread for more on this issue.

90ft-lbs and they should NOT come up flush. Chances are they are not biting if they come up flush before hitting 90ft-lbs.

I had a couple of anchors on one post come-up; one flush and one above that. But, they did both bite. I ground down the one that came up (an eighth) and called Dannmar about it. I was told that as long as the anchor indeed bit, that it wouldn't be an issue. So far, lifting two ton cars hasn't been an issue and everything is stout.
