I have the cornwell cat555 and love it! I too got tired of my previous ones with the gears separating and got mine used off the bay for around 60 bucks. It's actually alot quitter than I thought it would be! Mine is getting a little old and could use a rebuild to bump the torque a bit but I would definatly recommend it to anybody. As stated above the motor is in the head, the handle only has the speed adjustment and a tube going up to the motor. Another thing is to make sure that you have plenty of air, as it is a air HOG.

I own the Corwell model and use it occasionally. It doesn't have the power that some of the other geared Right angle die grinders have, but on the other hand, it is super smooth. Seems to be a good tool and is great for making a skim cut/grind on door skins with a 120 disc. I also use it on most any sheet metal ****-joint that I have welded and am trying to limit filler use.
