Hopefully my dad won't see this. I think he loves his ultra classic more than he loves me...

Thanks Jim.
I just checked out your Slow Build thread.
Looks great also!

Thanks, it will be half garage/half studio/half Motorcycle parking.

The one half will do double duty parking/studio for filming.

Lots of work to do, but once I get up to speed I don't slow down too much!

Jim

The black one with the Harley Davidson Blvd sign on it(And the MDC sign)

LOL! That was an entertainment center that I picked up at a garage sale for free. I split it in half, painted it black, and anchored it on either side of the Kobalt workbench, Added a top shelf to tie it all together and some aluminum diamond plate to a couple of the drawer fronts. Left side has a sloped panel that I mounted some socket holders to and the right side holds the TV's, receiver, turntable, equalizer and CD player.

Nice place!

I was gonna mention the lawnmower too. Ours is in the garage until I can build a shed. For you and your HOA just leave it out in the front yard until someone complains that you should put it in your shed - then get it in writing, then get a shed :)

Nah, that wouldn't work. Everybody in this subdivision is so **** retentive, they measure their lawn with a micrometer and when it grows a few thousandths of an inch, they mow it again. It's like a Lemans race start to see who could get to their lawn mower first. They'd probably think I was just taking a beer break.

Wonderfully clean place ya got there. One thing I noticed was the battery on the jack. I lost a jack to battery acid rusting the thing beyond repair. Yea it sit under the bench for months but by the time I pulled it out it was gone. So beware, battery acid and metal don't play nice together.

Larry, thanks for the heads up on the battery. It's a no longer good deep cycle that I am going to dispose of as soon as possible. I sat it on the jack just to get it out of the way. I'll put it on a piece of wood until I can get rid of it.

Lookin good, Bill! You have a turntable? You're like....old.....:)

LOL! Yeah, I'm pretty old. The Kenwood 65w receiver, Dual turntable, and equalizer I bought in 1975. Added a Sony CD player found at a garage sale for 5 bucks. The speakers are Cerwin Vega 12 inch 3 ways I bought about 1998.
Makes for a great garage system and I can play all my old vinyl I've been collecting since 1969.

Bill, I am old, too. I dont have a turntable, but need to get one. I inherited about 400 LP's and 45's a while back. They are all in like new, or better condition. One of them is an EASYRIDER soundtrack, UNOPENED. Some of the 45's are Elvis, need to catalog all of them when I get a chance. And, find a turntable.

I want to get a usb turntable so I can record all my albums on CD so I can preserve the vinyl.
If you want a turntable, you might look into that. They're available for around $100 or so. Hang on that Easy Rider record and resist the urge to open it if it's an original release. I'm in the process of setting up a sortable database in Excel so I can catalog my albums.
