The tankers bar was GREAT! I was even given one to take home with me.
I never used it to install tracks, I would pay out my winch and pull the tracks over the sprockets OR pull the vehicle over the tracks. I would aslo use a bobcat for this purpose. Nothing like seeing a bobcat pull a 35 ton vehicle
I would use the tanker bar for stabbing engines to help align them or transmissions/crossdrives.
I would use them to "roll over" 5ton engines for transmission/main bearing repair.
Also use them as a slide hammer or long drift punch. Could reach from one side and knock out axle seals on the other side. Had a bolt welded to the end which acted as a hook, and a few swift pulls backwards would do the work of a slide hammer.
