Can any one help out here, I just got a set of these and when trying to open the 1/2 to lube it I stripped the screw, I thought it was a 2mm torx but now its stuck in there, anyone know the proper bits to use on these ?, imperial maybe, the 1/4 and 3/8 screws are smaller still.
So presently the 1/2 will stay as is (sounds like it's a bit dry)

Get a reverse drill bit. Tap on the screw with a punch/hammer first, then use the reverse bit with a good amount of force and slow speed, and the screw hopefully will come out. It often works on low torque things such as this.

Sorry, no idea on the size.

Thanks guys, I should have known they would be imperial coming from the USA, dar'n torx bit did me in by the looks--hex/allen metric key fitted (almost), geez, the heads on these screws are tiny.

ps. they have YFS imprinted on the head.

Just checked my set out in the garage...

1/2" drive is 5/64 hex
3/8" and 1/4" are both 1/16 hex

Not sure what that 2mm is supposed to mean, but is that the common way to express it in australia?

Normal to ask for a 3.86mm or 4.99mm "torx"?

Here is how we (and rest of world?) size them
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torx#Sizing

I guess probably not, it was a generalisation--ie size closest I thought it might be point to point on my micrometer, must get better glasses
