I picked up my auction bargain Waterloo “crash cart” Friday, and unloaded it from the truck this morning.

This thing is pretty much immaculate:

The top tray has no cracks or chips, and under that, the box looks like the day it left Waterloo:

So, I hung the “agave drip” on the IV pole and got it ready to work.

I do need to figure out the best method for removing these Dymo labels and cleaning off the residue from stickers:

I like 'Goo Gone' for removing sticky labels. It has an orange/citrus scent and does a great job! You can find it at any Wal-Mart, etc.

I'd warm the labels up with a hair dryer (NOT a heat gun), and the glue should soften enough to get them to peel. Then use Goo Gone to clean the residue.

warmup and any sticker remover.
wash down or spray down with simple green then wax.

Cleaned them all off last Sunday, and removed remaining goo with Wd-40.
I also cleaned and lubed all the drawer tracks, so the drawers work like new.
I pulled the wheels out of the casters to lube them, and was surprised to find they have replaceable bearings, like bicycle wheels. Ball bearings in little cages, and cones on each side with a spacer between. Cleaned and lubed them and re-assembled, and the wheels roll smooth as glass.

Indeed. Those things are built to roll a million miles.

Oh, and if yours is like mine, closing the cabinet door, locks the drawers. A nice touch.
