Well, I explain more details later but it comes out to be that after meeting with both my concrete guy and concrete company rep. it seems that since the surface was not burnt down was the issue. The rep. is going to have a desifier/hardener sent to me. He said that it should reach from 1/2 inch up to 3/4 inch deep into the surface. So, couple more days.("deep breath")

I took a break on the floor. It did seem to get "harder".
Started putting up 1x4's and a radiant barrier.
I just called my concrete guy the other day to have him bring out the densifier/hardener.
I have a bad back so this has been a slow working process. Plus the budget for this season is getting to get to the end.
I just hurt my back again last week. In fact, just got back home from getting a MRI done on my back today. (Hope it's not a slipped disc)
....but I will post when anything more gets done on the floor.
on a scale from 1 to 10 ......10 being hardest, I would say the floor has a 8-9 hardness, IMO>
Plus, since I plan on having alot of rubber mats down, I'm kinda back to the drawing board in which route I want to go with. (after spending a few hours back on the concrete, I realized how hard it was on my back, so if most of the floor is going to be rubber mats, I may go with a cheaper epoxy?)(Oh, I'm going to hear it now, LMAO)

(Since I've been waiting on my seasonal job to start making money again)(I'm a deck hand on a fishing charter boat out of Orange beach, AL., ....anyone want to go fishing? we need some "sponsors")
Well I did email my concrete guy. (contractor) a nasty email. Yesturday, Saying I don't care who's fault it is (me or him not calling one beck, etc.,) I said it's been months and my concrete is still not right. The testing lab just told me it will be almost $500 for the testing and say they think its more a surface problem. So I told my contractor, I'm not paying for it. I'm comming back at you because you are my contractor and YOU need to get it taken care of. I'm done waiting!
If we have to ....we will let a Judge decide what you are going to do.
This woke him up. He said he will get some densifier and get it ready for me to put the epoxy down. I told him, NO, you WILL put down a densifier and we will SEE if we can still put a dent into the concrete and go from there!
I am NOT putting down an epoxy for it to peel up in a year.
I will post another update as soon as it get's done.
I'm pretty sure he knows I'm at my limit of him putting up with excuses and let me say, if he does not know, he will sure find out that this "Mr. Nice Guy" and has a temper!

Keep at him, the squeaky door gets the most attention. Ask him for a time, ring him when he doesn't make it, set another time, ring again and keep it up.
