Was driving by a yard sale and decided to stop. I saw a box of tools and kinda picked through it some. The guy came up to me and said to give him $40 for the box. I saw some nice looking MasterCraft wrenches and actually pulled 2 Matco wrenches out and saw some full polished wrenches in the bottom. There was other people looking at the other tools he had so I told the guy I would give him $35 which he accepted. Here is what I found in the bottom of the $35 box of tools.

Nice find! I need to frequent yard and garage sales much more often. Years ago I was a regular, mostly looking for military surplus despite being a mechanic. Now, I'm in the Army and look mostly for tools. :)

I knew the polished wrenches had to be good ones, I thought maybe Matco because I did see some. With all the other people around looking at tools I did not want empty the box in front of them and get into a bidding war. Thats why I kept it low key.
These are my first SnapOn's I have basically all Craftsman

This calls for a major YOU ****! I just sold a bunch of SO stuff on eBay tonight, and that stuff is worth its weight in gold!

I one time got a box of SO sockets for $10 at an estate sale. Once I had it in my hand everybody wanted to buy it! It was a killer deal but not this good!

Shame you spent so much. But me being the good guy I am; I'll give you 40 for the wrenches to help you recoup your losses.
JK that is the best yard sale find as far as tools I have ever seen.

Seeing stuff like this makes me think that allot of guys don't tell their significant others/family members what they spend on their tools.

"Geez, we've got to clear all of grandpa's old junk out of the garage. Hey, let's have a yard sale..."

Kind of mind boggling. :headscrat

Nonetheless, that's a great haul, hope you enjoy the tools.

I went to 3 yard sales today. I think I am spoiled now because I was disappointed at the junk that was there. I went with high hopes because I very rarely goto yard sales.

I bet his *** is still bleeding because for $35 you stuck it to him. That is one hell of a deal you got there.

brihvac, okay, it's been said by many, 'You Sucketh!'! That doesn't look like a 'nice' score, that is a GREAT score! Want to make yourself feel really good? Start looking up the prices for some of those tools on Ebay and really make your day.

“You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya punk?” lol
