Ever need the perfect tool for those 2AM Break ins?

Well your prayers have been answered! GlowBar. I bought this a while ago and thought I should share the awesomeness!

I am not going to bother to try and take a good glow in the dark pic so here is one from the site. The glowing effect is pretty gimmicky (obviously!) but if it gets a charge all day in the shop it might glow a while after the lights go out.

I could see that for a tire Iron so it doesn't get left on the side of the road in haste after a flat...

You can get glow in the dark lockout tools, I have considered painting the tips of mine with luminous paint.

I,m a roadside patrol for the RAC and I have to do a fair number of lockouts.
I dont really go on the forums but I can use a bump key and know a few electrical techniques to defeat deadlocks on Euro vehicles

I dont know that one, we do a bit of backfeeding and poking spikes through 5mm door gaps to power up a wire and stuff like that.

We get a few kids and dogs locked in cars and loads of keys locked in trunks at the airport.

One thing we do sometimes when someone loses a set of keys we use the local locksmith to break into the house to get the spares to save damage to the car.

We use an auto locksmith who can make and code transponder keys at the roadside in his van for quite a few brands.

We also have to reset/resynch a lot of security systems or even resolder the boards in keyfobs now and then to defeat an immobiliser.

Tell me the 9v trick by a PM if you like, I know its sensitive info.

They put diodes everywhere now, to make it tougher
