I doubt they are 'that' valuable.. People are just crazy. I swear people are addicted to winning bids on ebay the same way people get addicted to gambling.

Where are those bidders whenever I sell something on ebay!

Those people are crazy! I bet who ever wins the auction for those won't ever even use them as they were intended. They will be tool box queens.

If the auction is legit and someone pays that price for them, then they ARE that valuable

Im not gonna lie, i just signed up on this site because i realized that tools on ebay are getting flogged at very high prices. I myself bought a F936 ratchet for 60 dollars with 15 dollars shipping to canada.. Since i ran into this site searching for a t936 and a s936 i realized thay ebay is way over priced. Also there are some ads for these series that say they are dual 80 which cofused the heck out of me.. Im so glad im here and have a better perspective of the price of the tools now... Btw anyone have a s936 and t936 they want to sell me?

i don't get why people like the green so much. they'd end up black if i were using them

I don't understand why people buy red cars instead of **** brown ones...

People like different colours.

Aug 2012 and newer green items in 2013 you can call snap on 1 800 # and they will tell you that green is mainly promo items. The 5 dealers in my area are fully stocked with hard to get green items that are available on the site. The other green items snap on dealers can get depending on "their Sales Package" that they are involved with. Some do not get much involved with the flyer items or promo items. But if they wanna make bank, and most do, they subscribe to the higher promo items.

I understand people being collectors probably better than most. And I'm sure that I'm in the minority, but I just don't care for green tools. I guess based on the prices they bring it's just as well.

This was an answer to the question above that post that was asked as to when one might expect to get green tools like the auction in thread on the truck.

Well hell. I just got my green pick sets in yesterday and used them yesterday and today and now they are all dirty. I should have sold them on ebay and made money....

One of your friends selling snap on tools on ebay, sure Shawn. :D jk

I looked for ages for this set in Black, finally found a few listed on ebay and after getting outbid the first time, won one for $63. That hurt, so I'm glad I'm not trying to collect green ones.

That is funny. I think I have a set of those with the routine black handles that I got at a used tool store for $5 for all. I use them pretty regularly and they are no longer like new but I wouldn't sell them either. Unless of course some fool came by with $170.

Just stepped onto the snap-on truck today. My dealer has about 4 of those sets on truck for 45$ each. He told he he would get 20 more sets if I can sell them on ebay for that price and split the profit with no money down.
