it's simple. If you don't like it, don't enter. no need to comment on something just to be negative. If you don't like it, ignore it. Not everybody wants to hear your opinion on everything. Don't like it? Start a thread and ***** there. Don't hi-jack their thread. Simple as that!

Exactly what I was thinking.
I don't care where they are made, if I win, I'll be using them. I like to buy American, just like a lot of people on here, but I don't go around and ***** if someone else doesn't.
Just trying to find out where they are made to see if it's worth entering the contest, free Asian tools is like getting a free tax audit by the IRS, I don't want either of them regardless of it's free, simple as that.
Why, some giant company is trying to sell mediocre Chinese tools piggybacking off the name of a what was solid American company. That spiel about William Allen and his wrenches is great and all, put it on your website as much as you want but it's still a load of ****. I'm glad your company is "headquartered" in Texas but your production is in Shanghai. Way to **** Allen.
question for the op. will you be offering a magnetic end in regular head or will it only be in the ball ends. i love the idea but pefer the non ball end? and thanks for the drawing.
If we don't know, then take your question to Allen then. If it's US-made, well guess what, you're already entered. Might want to PM the Allen rep's account and tell him you don't want his "Asian tools" if they're not made here.
Who do you think started the thread?

A rep from Allen. Ask him. If he doesn't know, shoot an email to the company then.
Anything else?![]()
Very good, so then this would actually be the right place to ask a question about a product that someone from the company is giving away.
To clarify:
We're not headquartered in Dallas, one of our factories that makes Allen products is there. Our headquarters is in Sparks, Maryland. Our company, Apex Tool Group, has many factories in the US (6+) producing brands such as Armstrong, Crescent, Delta, Allen, JOBOX, Wiss, HK Porter, Lufkin, GearWrench, and more. Thanks for participating!
