My '37 chevy flat bed out of CA with stakes I made out of old barn wood a 100 years old or so. Has 250 six with powerglide transmission (the shifter is in the floor and has the appearance of a floor shift 3 or 4 speed)....the wire wheels origin are unknown.

Absolutely WICKED set of toys! I guess they're my taste too as I have a FORD convertible (Galaxie), a vintage truck (46 Merc) and am about to buy a Boxster!
Your Boxster is on the lot....did you just buy it, or are those old pics?
Your truck - was it already restored when you got it?
Do you farm or it is a hobby?

have played Santa, especially for the ladies. I had the nickname hung on me when selling timeshares years ago for Fairfield Resorts (FFD then) and I only sold Christmas weeks since they paid the best comission.The Boxter, I bought in 15 minutes in Colorado Springs...I went there to drive and perhaps buy a 911, but when I saw that Boxter, which had just been traded by a PCA member, I asked about its' clean appearance and how had they detailed it that nicely so quickly...turned out they hadn't touched it. I immediately bought it after a 2 mile test drive and had it shipped to Pagosa. I really enjoy your work, especially the Chevy truck you just finished. My best to Mrs. E-Tek from Santa...tee, hee, ho, ho, you lucky devil.
I had my Boxter up to 122 in 4th gear and it was still pulling hard with 5th to go...I really love the tiptronic...AND, if you can find a 2001, they had the best, greatest looking wheels. Garage time and travelling with 5/8ths, my better half keeps me/us young at 70, and my PSA after Davinci, prostate cancer surgery at Mayo in PHX is still 0.0%. Good to hear from such a famous Garage Journal contributor. Sorry about my upload screwups. I attribute it all to W.O. wisdom overload!

The '37, I had to rebuild from the frame up. it was cobbled together to be used in a movie...lot's of "chickens hit" welds and cobbled spring shackles, etc. I completely redid the bed and the stakes. Our cattle ranch is a small one but it takes a lot of barn, tractors, woman power (5/8ths, my better half), hay and assorted stuff to keep it going. We lease ground around us also. After my DaVinci robotic radical prostatectomy and the ensuing three 0.0% PSA's, I'm feeling pretty snorty for an old dog. The handle "santa" came to me when I sold Christmas week timeshares for Fairfield years ago since they paid the highest commissions and it has stuck. Good luck finding the right boxter, I love the 2001, with tiptronic and those gorgeous wheels...the only year they had them. I drove it 2 miles at the Colorado Porsche dealership and bought it on the spot and had it shippedto Pagosa Springs. I've really enjoyed your old chevy restoration for that guy...great detail, patience and some admirable welding skills to be sure. My best from Santa to Mrs. ETek.
