No more HF 42" box

Looking on the website I noticed that they have a new 44" gloss red box. For 599.00. The original 42" box is no longer listed, yet all of the add on boxes are still listed...Doesn't make sense to me.

Anyone know anything about this?

The 44" box is identical to the 42". They just changed the color to gloss red.

Many of the coupons you'll find have both the old and new item numbers on them. So it appears the same deals that they used to run on the crinkle will run on the new gloss box.

Also, I'm sure they'll be adding gloss accessories soon. The roll-out of the new box has been slow while they eat up existing inventory, I'm sure they don't want to be left with a bunch of crinkle finish accessories nobody want.

I would buy the crinkle accs regardless if they are cheap enough. Work great in a home made cart or bench top at home.

My Harbor Freight has the new gloss red for all components on display.

Hahaha. In all actuality, it's still a 41" box, same as the specs HF made the box to by copying sizes from the same sized truck brands way back when. Duh.

By adding the handle, it came to 42", but I;m curious and now have to stop by a HF to see where 44" came from.
Hmmmmm.

You can slice a pizza into as many slices as you want, but if the dia. of the pizza is constant, more slices does NOT = more pizza.

Also quite possibly a misprint. According to the specs, shipping weight is 1.00 pounds.
