How does that compare to a Rohm chuck?

We have a few Rohm chucks and they're rather nice. That one looks pretty similar so I might even go ahead and say one companies product is also made by the other.

Monte should know.

How does that compare to a Rohm chuck?

it should be of equal quality like a "Rohm Supra" chuck. Functionality etc. is the same too.

Also wondering this. Can I put one on my Bosch 18V?

if it´s the type of drill where the chuck is pressed onto the transmission/geartrain than no, if you can remove the chuck then i would use a lighter cuck than that one, for example a Rohm "Extra" or Metabo "Futuro Plus"

Monte should know.

The story goes that certain Rohm chucks are manufactured by Metabo...

These look very similar...:

Better late than never, Christmas presents from my daughter:
Hazet screwdrivers are awesome!
Firm grip, triangle-shaped ergonomic handlers, these tools apparently were created to last.

odd question perhaps:
Why is there wooden grip screwdrivers made still today? What are benefits compared to plastic ones?

it seems there are still a lot of people who likes these drivers because maybe of the low price (compared to plastic handle "go-through" blade drivers)

And wood workers seem to like tools which are made out of wood /with wood handles. In other countries they seem to be popular too, like Japan (See Nepros or Anex wood handle drivers)

There are also modern versions of classic wood handles , same shape like the plastic handles like these Felo drivers or SKG:

Thank you very much. I have tried google but without success. Im a farmer so i do have a lot of heavy machinery which requires constant maintenance. I prefer quality tools so often I buy second hand tools in good condition because they tend to outlast new no name tools. Sometimes I have to work in the field with what i got at hand, and must improvise a lot in order to at least return home. I had few wiha screwdrivers with wooden handles that i used a lot and they were virtually indestructible. Thats why I needed some info about these because I prefer wooden handle ones and I can get these for about 19 $.

Wood is warm to touch. Advantage when working in cold environment (climate or space). And some people have finger joints that are more sensitive to cold than others and might prefer wood over plastic. Those with arhritis for example.

If they are really made in germany and good quality $19.- is a bargain. If you loose one in the field also not that tragic....
Maybe "Pergler" is a store in the US where the drivers were bought ?? There is a "Ames" store in the US for example who sell german made "SKG" screwdrivers: www.amessupply.com

You could be right. I think those are older tools. By the way they look and by the look of package. Just found pictures of few more sets. On the red plastic ones stands W Germany.

I think Rennsteig (over here at least) has the best prices, Gedore has sometimes sets on sale too ("Gedore Magic" Aktion), Peddinghaus might be imported and Hazet quite expensive ... PB Swiss would be a idea too :)

E(lectric) tools ?

"French":bounce:

Virax is a french company which belongs to Facom. Maybe france ?

Pergler GmbH
Karlauerstr. 5
