just wondering what your experiences are with torx screwdrivers and your recommendations so far I've looked at snap on , wera , stahlwille.
the wera seam to be the cheapest at about $50 and the snappys and stahlwilles are over $200

The Matco ones are very nice. The set could use one size larger and a nut at the base; otherwise, they have a good feel to them. German made, naturally.

With that being said, I have been favoring a ratcheting screwdriver with a torx bit lately.

I got the Wihas, and I've been more than happy with them. German made, and comfortable handles and nice tips. I've got a half dozen or so Snap-Ons too, and the Snaps are probably the best I've ever used, but I had odd mixed sizes and finally wanted a complete set without breaking the bank.

I had to buy a second set at one point that could handle security Torx. (It was down a shaft that was too big for any bit holding device.)

So just keep in mind, whatever you buy may not work for everything.

My second set ended up being the Craftsman T-hadle torx drivers as they are long, thin and have the hole to support security Torx.
