TPMS reset tool ?

Any suggestions on a TPMS reset tool for home/hobby use ?

My local tire shop wants $5/tire to reset and the method in the owners manual is a PITA.

Any way to do reset wheel positions to display correctly after a rotate without standing on one foot and humming a mantra then doing a back flip while herding cats ?

I'm thinking there must be a occasional use version available that doesn't cost a small fortune.

Any suggestions would be most helpful

what kind of car ?? ..other than ford or gm ..you may need a factory scan tool ..chrysler resets itself

You're better off paying the 5 bucks per tire. We just bought a 1200 matco tool to reset tpms and it won't even scan for codes. Our factory tool was 1800. For as much as you're going to use it just pay the 5 dollars

on a chevy i think its the relearn procedure of setting it into learn then letting air out of one tire at a time til each tire is learned, the car will honk when its learned the new one then you move on
but i also have a 900 dollar tool that does tps relearns; doesnt work on a 2010 ford f150 though, had to use the cars learn procedure

We have a Snap-On TPMS3 tool at work, does an amazing job with lots of vehicles, but it's way too pricey for home use.

The manual reset procedure on GM's isn't that bad once you've done it a few times.

And $5 a tire? If it's a car I've done tire work to, I'll reset it for free...
