Help Me ID My Bench Grinder

The metal ID tag on it is pretty messed up. I was able to make out two things on it. It's made by Bosch and it's 3/4 HP. I don't know if the color is original and I don't know how old it is other than it's probably about as old as me or older (28 yrs).

Anything else is a mystery to me.

Basic design is so similiar

Made in Minneapolis,MN for just about everybody as in Grainger, Dayton, Delta, Milwaukee,and their house brand Wissota. Now they just make strictly skate sharpers but they have parts like the shield and rest still availiable.

That looks just like mine. Is that the original finish on yours? How old is it? Do you think its possie to get the replacement shields and ID plate?

Reccomend a shield, the grinder can be one of the most dangerous machines, the velocity of a exploding grinding wheel is enough to kill or leave a mark in the wall.........

Yes, the finish is original. It's from 1981; yours will be marked at the bottom of the tag too. See "Serial"...

Yeah 90% or more of my tag is worn off, which is why I wanted a replacement.
