You have two weeks to get the sale price. After that, your SOL.

That's after the fact though and he got them before the fact. LOL!! I think you may be out of luck on this but it does not hurt to ask Menards. They may give you a gift card or something for future purchases, but as far as a sale price, I doubt it. I know when I bought my toolbox, the sales guy told me it was going on sale the next day, so I got it at the sales price. They run sales weekly on different items, so they have to have a cutoff point somewhere. I guess when any big purchase is made, it would benefit one to ask if it would be coming up for sale soon. Or you could look at it that they knew all along but just didn''t want to tell you and then sent the flier just to rub it in.:lol_hitti

Check the receipt on the shingles you bought and find out what their return policy is. When I bought my snowblower the same thing happened. I went to the store and said "Either we do this the easy way, or we do this the hard way." The gave me the difference on the spot. If they won't refund the money, buy new shingles at the sale price, have them load them and return them with your original receipt.

somewhere...
In my experience Menards is pretty good, they'll probably just do a price adjust and give you the difference (albeit, store credit) or if you don't want store credit you could do it the way 5wndwcpe suggested and buy X number of pallets at the sale price and return the next day or whatever w/ the old reciept.

From the Menards web site.

Sale price adjustments will be allowed during the sale of an item when this item was purchased up to 14 days prior to the sale, a credit to your Menards Card or in-store credit will be issued for this balance. However, sale price adjustments are not allowed on end of season discounts or closeout items.

Or you can just tear off the new shingles you installed and return them; they probably don't need to be in the original packaging...:lol_hitti
