I was in the market for a quality work bench specifically for my engine building projects. I had seen these a few months back on the Snap-On website, and being the Snap-On junkie I am, decided to pull the trigger on it.

http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item...683089&supersede=&store=snapon-store&tool=all

It has a 60"x30" stainless top from their Epiq line of tool boxes, the drawer is from their Master Series line of tool boxes. Overall I am VERY pleased with the quality, best part is I got it just in time to build a new twin turbo, billet manifold 362" Sb2.2 headed small block Chevy

Pacsguy,

My dealer cut me a break on it, but I have a very good dealer and have NEVER paid retail price for any Snap-On tool. That being said, I also spend a TON of money with him every year.

i think it would be more useful if it had air line quick disconnects and power sockets built in.

have to agree. sorry to thread ****, it does look nice, but a 30x60 stainless top bench with a drawer for $1600?!?! whats a deal? $1200? still crazy money to me, but then again, buying a (new) SO roller is insane (money-wise) to me too. enjoy it!

The joy of quality far outlasts the joy of saving money. That's a table you'll have for the rest of your life and possibly even a few generations beyond. I've spent ~$1500 on a lot sillier things than a top quality work bench in my life. Nice table, I'd tell you to enjoy it but I already know you will.

Of course I want one...And yes, they last. My tools are all 3rd generation and they will be 4th if I have a boy (or a girl that's worth a **** ha)

Need a new thread "Show Your Workbench"

That is nice, I have a 5yr old son and he needs his own workbench.

Wow that's an awesome bench. The orange one would look nice across from my KRL1022. I might have to call my dealer…

My wallet will wish I didn't open this thread

Its too nice to use! Is that a CT7850 underneith? There is one on CL here for 1500 bucks. I am struggling to figure out why someone would buy used from CL as essentially the same price as new?? $100 bucks is worth just getting to unwrap it!

What box is that next to it?

I've already compared the size to my KRL and I think I have the perfect spot for it. Maybe I'll use it in my house as a desk first. It's amost too pretty to get all dirty.

No, just a tool bag

Rocket1 -- The box it is sitting next to is a Montezuma from www.strictlytoolboxes.com

AdamLym how do you like the Montezuma? I have one on order and hope it is worth it as I have never seen one in person. Seems as a lot of people on here speak very highly though.

are these discontinued ? the linky no longer seems to worky

Nope
