Ok guys, after numerous nights spent on the forum, I think I'm ready to apply my epoxy. In a few hours I'll be picking up the grinder and starting tonight. I'm applying an epoxy-coat bright red with white, graphite and black flakes. I'll be sure to post pictures of the final outcome. I do have one concern and that's about mixing the epoxy with a cordless drill, should I pick up a corded drill or just make sure both batteries are fully charged?

Definitely a corded drill will help mix it better and you would not burn up your cordless drill. A good paddle bit also helps. There are several types at your local HD or Lowes. Take a couple before and during pics too. We all want to see how ya did it.

Wow! Hadn't seen a red floor before! What'd you do about the bubbles? Did you try to pop them before the epoxy set up?
hopefully the second coat plus flakes will cover the imperfections.BlackdogGS

Im on my iPhone now so I can't view the pictures. What would cause bubbles? I just installed my epoxy floor coating and I did not have any bubbles.

Applying 100% solids epoxy over very "open" concrete without a primer can cause out-gassing. Out-gassing makes your bubbles.
A primer is good insurance.
