My new tool box came! And it was 5 weeks early!!! I bought my KRL 1022 from my Industrial rep.

Beside my old Matco MB 7525.

I'll get the stainless top installed on it tomorrow before work. I love this box! It just feels right to me, and I've already gotten more compliments with it than the yellow box ever got. Only thing is, I had two people tell me the cranberry looked like Barney purple, lmao.

There is something so classy about Snap-On boxes, especially the chrome accents that go down the sides, middle and drawers; sets it off with the "classic snapon" look! Man, just classy-cool, beautiful! The top will make it even look better! With your industrial discount how did you pay for that bad boy (if you don't mind me asking?) congrats!

With the discount, the box itself was 3800. For the box, stainless top, freight and tax, right at $5k even.

I sold the Matco box to another guy at work. I had planned to keep it, but he kept on me until I gave in. My instructor had almost the same box a few years ago, and I fell in love with it, so that's what I wanted.

Basically looks like the same size/configuration of box. Unless the guy you sold the Matco box to gave you $5K for it I'm not sure I'd have paid for a color change...

I didn't like the matco box. I bought it off ebay and just never liked it when I got it home. I always regretted not getting this one instead. The other guy offered me what I originally paid for the yellow one 2 years ago, so I took it. That, and I'm really tired of being the only person there with a yellow box, lol.

I actually gained quite a bit of room. I have about 3-4 inches of extra depth plus I gained an extra drawer.
