2 1/4" wrench is the biggest I use on a semi often basis. Also use 55mm wrenches all the time

Not sure of the biggest I actually own though, but those are just ones that get used often.

Hmmmmmm, let's see.

My biggest tool:

- is in my pants
- is my Hard On FL69
- is in my drawers
- gets bigger when a puller is applied
- is always oiled up and ready to use

Sorry guys, just trying to get them all out of the way.

My biggest is I guess my 2 foot Ridgid adjustable wrench. Not so gigantic. Oh well, thought this might be of interest:

Ok what in the world would you need a 150mm socket for and how much would it cost.

industrial applications, stuff on oil rigs, boats and large machinery etc

and probably into the $1000's id guess, there was a thread a while back about a snap on one that was similar sized, was around $4k if i remember right....

Biggest I have is a 1 1/2" Snap On 5/8 drive socket made in the early 1920's. Don't really have much "big" stuff, as I only buy tools that I will use.

My biggest socket is 46mm and is 3/4 drive. I have a 40" 3/4 drive breaker bar to use with it. My largest wrench is 36mm in metric and 1 1/2 in SAE. I don't run into big stuff much.

Snap-On L943 2-15/16" socket date coded 1947 in 1" drive. Cost me $20 from the Snap On truck used tool bin (totally worth it) I put my keys and stuff in it on the dresser.

I was just looking around CollectingSnapon.com earlier today and thought it would be cool to find one of the 1" or larger drive sockets to have. That thing is a beast and i like the idea of using it as a valet for your keys and pocket items.

The website didn't even have pictures of the older ones so that might be a fairly rare find if its as old as you say it is.

If you look just to the right of the Snap-On logo you can see the number 7 shaped like a question mark, according to the date chart it's a 1947 model. I can't tell that it's ever been used. It sat in the used/odd tool bin on my dealers truck for weeks till I talked him out of it. It is a beast and feels like a brick.
