A few days ago, after inquiring about swisstrax flooring (thought it was going to be more cost effective but wasn't), I called RaceDeck and got a quote for what I needed. I wasn't going to need much since I was going to be doing more of a parking pad. The price I was quoted from swisstrax for 94 square feet was $563.32. When I called and got the first quote from RaceDeck for 98 sq ft the price was $441.60. But I had forgotten about the Garagre-Journal discount. I asked about that and the price came out to $347.20 WITH free shipping!! I'll save you the trouble in calculating that....that's $216.12 less than the swiss-trax. Awesome deal.
If you call I'd recommend asking for Dunja (1-800-457-0174 ext 130). She was great to deal with and responded to all my emails with questions literally within a minute or two of sending it. Also, at least with her you know you're dealing with someone familiar with the discount.

I'll post pictures after I'm done, but here's the garage it's going in:

I would have probably kept that floor. Looks great

Thanks, still keeping the floor as it is but the epoxy just isn't holding up very well so I'm just doing a parking pad in black with a yellow edging for the left side of the garage, where the car is usually parked. The right side is where our motorcycles are always parked so that's staying like that for now.

Put the floor down last night and I'm really happy with the way it looks. I'll take better pictures soon and post them but for now here's an iPhone pic:

Are those canvas wraps of your car? Details? Those look great! Very nice garage all around. Parking pad looks nice too.

Thanks
With the exception of the sketch, which I had someone draw for me for that car, those are canvas prints of my images, wrapped/mounted on wood frames. Pretty easy to do and adds a nice "3D" effect to the images. I took the pictures and uploaded and bought them from largeformatposters.com. Pick the size of the print, order it, then take it to a local frame shop and tell them you want it wrapped and mounted (will come delivered in a tube). Should cost you about $100 to mount. Price of the print obviously depends on size, but you can price it out online beforehand. I have different cars as of recently so I have to update them soon.

GusMiami:

Your garage looks great. Simple never gets old.
Who is shooting your pictures?
They look very professional!!

Thanks Scotty. Simple is definitely good. Nice to have everything off the ground to be able to hose down the garage. Much easier to keep clean that way.

I took the pictures and commissioned someone for the sketch.

I love the look of the vented tiles. My question is what do you do if something spills? What about the snow and salt melting in the winter? Is it not really visible can this just be hosed down?

Hi
We are based in the mountains of Utah and get lots of snow and road slop dragged into the garage. In my personal garage I have the FreeFlow where the daily drivers pull in everyday and it is great. Everything flows through the floor and out the door, leaving my garage looking nice and clean in the morning. I can even wash my cars in the garage during the winter. My garage has a slight pitch sloping out the door so everything naturally runs out the door, but even with a flat garage you can just hose it out if needed...the open grid allows everything to evaporated.

I just ordered my RaceDeck today. Compared it to the Moto Deck and with the Garage Journal discounts, the premium Race Deck product was actually less expensive. What a great surprise that was, even though I was going with the Race Deck for the additional step up in quality. Melanie (the customer service rep) sent me my quote and dealt with me over the phone. I run a company of 75 employees and I hope our customer service reps come across as professional and helpful as she did.

I was impressed with the experience and hope I'm equally impressed with the product when it shows up. So far, I'm not worried, I can tell you that.

Thornstein -
Thank you for choosing RaceDeck and letting us know we got it right and earned you as a customer. I am going to share your post with Melanie and the other salespeople in the office as well.

Have a great day!

Nice floor, after reading this post and seeing the pricing you got I made a call to Race Deck and am 99 percent sure I am doing my 24x24 attached garage with their product. Very helpful people and pricing much better than I had expected.

Just undecided now about which tile to choose. Full flow or Circle trac??. My layout is done already and my wife is onboard :)

Thanks for the post and the great pictures.

So when I call Race Deck, I can mention Garage Journal and get a discount??? I like the sound of that. I have looked at many options from, porcelain tile(I even found a granite tile at Menards, which would be gorgeous but that's a bit much) to epoxy products to, vinyl sticky tiles or glue in stuff. And I think I am just going with the Race Deck. I like the fact that if I mess up a tile I can easily pop it out and put in a new one. And also that if I move I can take it with. :) I have a 24x24 garage to do.

No Problem. I went ahead and got the flow-thru one. I've had the regular circle-trac and the idea of the water not puddling when I come in from the rain is nice. Also nice to just be able to hose it down so easily. I'd recommend it.

Call and ask for Dunja (1-800-457-0174 ext 130). She helped me, so I can assure you she knows of the discount.

Melanie helped me last week, she is aware of the discount as well. I called her to place my order and she could not pull up what was quoted to me It turned out that Dunja sent me the e-mail quote but Melanie sent me the sample with her business card so Melanie could not pull up the e-mail quote as Dunja sent it. Did not matter, just told her what I had been quoted and that it was the Garage Journal discount, "no problem" and the discount included free shipping as well! Pretty good since I just got 400 lbs of tiles delivered to my door yesterday. They will go in the garage this weekend, I am very excited.
