LMAO "will accept a trade for an ipod touch or tablet". I don't live anywhere near Pittsburgh and I still flagged his ad. Here in Raleigh, we have a pretty itchy trigger finger when it comes to flagging ads like this in the tool section. When the seller responds to the ad being pulled, high comedy usually ensues.

That's like a $10 bargain bin tool set, brand new - probably one of the ones that are so bad, not even China wants to be associate with it. Someone got me one similar to that at work a couple of years ago as a gag gift. I bent the head of the hammer with the first swing. As I recall the machining on the wrenches wasn't anywhere near straight. They ended up being drawer pulls for a wood shop projected another guy's kid was working on. I think just about everything in the box was sintered, rather than forged.

I wish I could find that hammer. It seriously bent trying to hammer a large trim nail. Just to be funny (after pointing out the massively bent head) I took a swing at a framing nail and the head broke off half way down the stalk of the handle.

...but sadly the large majority of society really is THAT stupid, so when someone tries to get a rise out of others, it works, because CL seems to be an aggregator for stupidity.

Lol, i got a set like that for christmas a few years back which looks 100x the quality of that lot (bought in lidl, a German discount store like aldi) and even that was only £15 or so (just tools for using in the house)

Another perspective: it costs nothing to post a CL ad. You only need one sucker to make money, and might even be able to find multiple suckers.

I do feel sorry for people that buy something like this as a gift, thinking that they are getting a good deal.

Ok, that is either mind boggling stupidity, or the world's worst horse trader.

I really like a lot of Snap-on tools, but the associated "it has a snap on stamp so its worth one million dollars just because" idiocy almost makes me embarrassed to own them.

To be fair though, CL posting has delays of 5-15 minutes between submission and actual postings on the web page. High probable they both posted within that window and did not see the other posting.
