This thread is going to descend into the black pipe versus copper argument real soon. I just want to tell you to go to tptools.com and look for their air piping scheme. It's shown with black pipe but is just as easily implemented with copper.

Did you HAVE to mention that term, huh? Did ya? Did ya?:D

Now either the OP will either say, "What's wrong with PVC?" (**** storm ensues). Or he already knows and ....

...someone else will chime in and say, "I've been using PVC for 148 years and have had no problems with it" (**** storm ensues)

Black pipe is reliable...pretty easy to run....especially for long runs....downside....unless you have a pipe threader...you will be making trips to HD to get them to thread the pipe.

Copper....great for complicated runs where you have a lot of turns...don't have to worry about threading connections.....much easier for the average DIY'er to do.

It's actually not complicated.....you can get everything you need at HD or Lowes.

The problem with PVC is they always leave one thing out of the kit. Sorry I couldn't resist. 13th post and all...
