So I work for a pretty big company working graveyard. There has always been a snap on, mac and even a matco truck that comes. Well last week i spotted a cornwell truck. I asked around and he comes every thrusday.

The cornwell truck is my easter bunny. Always heard of it. Never saw it, until know.

Question. What should i buy!

Hop on the truck and see what catches your eye. Maybe he has a basket full of goodies just for you. ;)

I have seen the Cornwell druck twice in 34 years here in Redlands California. I have friends who own garages and they say they never come to thier shops. Both times I saw the truck turning onto the Freeway in the next town over. I have a few of thier tools and they seem to be bery good quality.
I have never used one of their ratchets but I do hear they are very nice. Now you can spend all your lunch money. LOL

I wouldn't buy much from a tool truck that does not reliably show up every week. The prices you pay on the truck are for exceptional tools paired with exceptional service. If you are not getting both you are wasting your money. Just my opinion and something for you to think about. Have fun on the truck.

Who knows?
Can't speak for the guy in his area, but I have not one but TWO Cornwell trucks that I run into on a weekly basis, sometimes daily, I run a delivery route for Coke (Soda) here in NC one shows up every week at the plant and the other guy I see 45 miles away on my route, Step in the truck and it's like Christmas at 10 years old all over again. Matter of fact, the Matco guy stops at the plant and I run into the Snap-On fellow on the route all the time, Guess I'm set, just need to get some money to play with and I'm good.

How do people like the Cornwell/Witte screwdrivers? How do they compare with the Matco/Wittes or the Napa/Witte's? I was thinking about a set.

they are nice but id hold out and buy elsewhere. cornwell unrolled their new screw driver line up which is Asia made. so if you end up breaking one of the Germans, you are handed an Asian in exchange. just had this conversation w/ my guy as i was on the fence over snappy hard handles or the cornwell wittes. i already own cornwells torx screw drivers which are witte made.

I was wondering about that issue, maybe I'll spring for a nice Matco set then, thanks.
