I picked up a nice 3 1/2" Parker vise today at a flea market. It is dirty with a little light surface rust but other than that in great shape. Also pictured is a Desmond Stephan 3 1/2" vise I picked up on ebay a while back. The Parker was $35. and the Desmond Stephan was around $27. with the shipping.

Here are some more pictures. Next to the 3 1/2" Fuller vise on my mini welding table you can see how substantial the old iron is.

Sorry, not for sale. But I will keep an eye out for another one. I will probably go to another event later in the summer where the same vendor should attend. He said that he usually brings four old vises to the show I was at and sells them all. This time he only sold two by the time he was ready to leave. Unsold were two Columbians for thirty dollars each that were about the same size as the C. Parker I got. I wonder what the guy who had first pick took home.

I realize it is just a baby but it sure did not feel like it when I carried it across the field and down the road to the car with my 35 pound daughter on my shoulders. Next time I will have to remember to take my daughter's wagon along.

I figured it wasn't for sale... It looks like it's in great shape. It would be cool to have one of each size they made from yours to mine ( at least I think the 3" is the smallest and I have never seen one bigger than mine ) bolted to a huge bench. I assume you would need a 3,4,5,6,8 to do it though and some $$ to buy all of them.

You would need these too if you wanted to collect them all.
