I don't need this, I don't have room for it if it only lifts rear-ends.
I can get it for $100. It's capacity is 3500lbs.

I can justify picking it up if there are any interesting mods that can make it more useful.
  • Ever seen any interesting mods done to this lift?
[*]What is the proper name for this style?

    Thanks.

looks like it would come in handy for changing riding mower blades. If you have the space and it is next to free why not?

I'm assuming that is for something with beam axles, so limited use for most modern vehicles, (except the rear). If you do a lot of 4x4's more potential use. What is it's capacity?

If it's free or really cheap you need to get it
Will work well on the rear axle and front I beams but if you have a full frame vehicle you can also grab the side of the frame to put some tilt on a car to do some service work

Then fact that it is a rotunda is a bonus because there are some ford guys that collect the factory ford service stuff

added more pics

i don't picture wheeling this around the cars very much.

my cars are unibody.. so i really want to find some modifications or practices where i can utilize this wisely, even if all it does is lift my cars to nice tall heavy jack stands.

i may not be able to determine any good ideas or fabrication ideas until i get my hands on it.. or perhaps i should just avoid using it for unibody cars.
