Picked this set up at a pawn shop today its unused and perfect im pretty sure the ratchet is armstrong every piece is marked USA

Armstrong is owned by Danaher so it is most likley made in the Armstrong Plant..

People here always say "made in the Armstrong plant." People act like Armstrong is a completely separate tool entity in Apex, when it's really just another brand name they stamp on slightly tweaked tools. Some of the tools appear identical to other brands and just have different names stamped on them.
The ratchet the OP posted has basically the same 36 tooth internals currently or previously used in Craftsman, NAPA, K-D, Armstrong, MATCO, Allen and other ratchets. The handle shape is a slightly unique variation produced for the Kobalt contract tools. The OP's ratchet uses the same mechanism as the Craftsman 36 tooth ratchet, but with a metal selector, It looks very similar or identical to the selector used on the NAPA ratchets and a few other brands. The sockets are identical to Craftsman sockets.
I'm not knocking the OP's tool set. It's a decent set of tools.
Here's a real 3/8" drive, 36 tooth Armstrong 11-972 ratchet. It uses a slightly revised gear without a quick release. I'm personally not a fan of these ratchets, or really any of the Apex Tools 36 tooth ratchets.

I have Matco 36 tooth ratchet. Same internals as my old RP craftsman ratchet. The handle is very nice but the internals are just to coarse. Not a fan.
I never understood the hate for Matco/Armstrong/Danaher. 
Personally, i really like the Armstrong ratchets; they have a great 'click' and seem almost unbreakable. For some strange reason, fine tooth ratchets are GJ's golden tool this year. Next year, we will be questioning how often we get stuck with a turning angle between 5 and 10 degrees.
Nice set. I just paid about $40 for an Armstrong ratchet alone, so I think you got a good deal.

I got several of these sets when they were closing out all of the danaher USA made stuff along with several 3/8 and 1/4 for less than $10 each. We had numerous threads with people here going and buying them because they were so cheap even though they are actually pretty crappy tools despite being made in USA.

sockets are real Nice the ratchet was dry a little super lube and its nice and quiet good in the car box
